Aaron Glauberman

Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Aaron Glauberman is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of LegalBison, a global boutique legal and business services firm and licensed corporate service provider specializing in regulatory architecture for FinTech and digital asset projects worldwide.

Professional Background

Active in the digital asset space since 2013, Aaron Glauberman built LegalBison from inception into a globally operating firm with offices in Poland, Estonia, Bahrain, Costa Rica, Panama, and Malaysia. The firm delivers regulatory and business guidance across 50+ jurisdictions on every continent.

Aaron holds three concurrent executive functions at LegalBison:

  • Managing Director – responsible for the firm’s strategic direction;
  • Head of Regulatory Research – directs the firm’s analytical coverage of VASP, CASP, MiCA, PSD2, PSD3, and FinTech regulatory frameworks across all active markets;
  • Principal Overseer of Global Project Implementations – maintains quality assurance across every client engagement, coordinating the firm’s legal, compliance, licensing, corporate administration, and talent sourcing teams.

Regulatory and Jurisdictional Expertise

Aaron Glauberman directs regulatory research across LegalBison’s global practice. His expertise spans multiple licensing verticals and regulatory frameworks:

  • Crypto and digital assets: VASP licensing and CASP regimes, MiCA compliance for crypto-asset service providers in the EU, crypto exchange licensing, and custody authorization;
  • FinTech: FinTech licensing under PSD2 and PSD3, EMI and payment service provider (PSP) authorization, MSB registration, and neobanking regulatory navigation;
  • AML/CTF compliance: Standards aligned with FATF guidelines, including KYC policy design, risk matrix construction, and transaction monitoring frameworks.

For each client, Aaron evaluates regulatory burden, banking accessibility, operational feasibility, timeline, and cost against the specific business model. Jurisdictions across the EU, MENA, LATAM, Caribbean, and Asia-Pacific illustrate LegalBison’s range but do not define its boundaries.

Role at LegalBison

As Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Aaron Glauberman coordinates the firm’s multi-disciplinary teams and co-designed LegalBison’s structured implementation methodology. Every client engagement follows five interconnected phases:

  • Jurisdictional strategy – identifying where the business should be domiciled and licensed;
  • Operational architecture – mapping user flows, fund flows, and third-party provider roles against jurisdictional requirements;
  • Regulatory navigation – determining which specific licenses and authorizations apply to the client’s business model;
  • Legal foundation – establishing the platform’s protective legal framework;
  • Licensing execution – preparing documentation, managing regulator liaison, and securing authorizations.

Aaron’s dual role as Head of Regulatory Research and Principal Overseer of Global Project Implementations creates a direct feedback loop between the firm’s regulatory intelligence and its operational delivery, so that implementation quality remains connected across every jurisdiction and service vertical.

Aaron Glauberman’s oversight portfolio spans centralized exchanges, payment infrastructure platforms, and decentralized digital asset projects worldwide.
